Ocho Rios has been named one of the best destinations in the world by millions of TripAdvisor travelers. Here’s how Jamaica Ocean View Villa can help celebrate this major win:
Ocho Rios is known for being a huge family vacation destination. Beside the famous Dunn’s River Falls, Ochi is the center of some of the most amazing kid-friendly activities,
such as rainforest adventures, showpark garden and waterfalls Zip lining through the rain forest, swim & ride, snorkeling, glass bottom boat ride, cliff & rope jumping and swim with the dolphin are only some of the activities your children will love.
Families should not miss the opportunity to visit Konoko Falls and zoo. There is something for everyone.
Activities range from a tour through the “rainforest, budgie feeding station, a museum filled with artifacts from the past to the present day, a mini zoo to exploring the falls.
After all this adventure, take a dip in the Infinity Edge Pool and slip and slide down the Mystic Waterslide.
Families staying at Villa Serenity receive free access to the beach club and water park. Don’t want to miss the opportunity.
Enjoy learning about these truly unique animals while touching, dancing, singing, and even kissing one of our beautiful bottlenose dolphins.
The very best in deep-sea sport fishing beckons off the coast of Jamaica. Imagine heading out onto the open waters off the coast, renowned as one of the most thrilling grounds.
The highlight of any trip to Ocho Rios is the hour climb up Dunn’s River Falls. You’ll hike 600 feet up the rock steps as the waters come barreling down. Strolling hand-in-hand and helped by a guide up the slippery steps, guests will find it to be an exhilarating and memorable way to spend a morning.
There’s no need to take a guided tour of the falls since there are employees at the site ready to help.

Dolphin Cove is a 5-acre attraction that features rain forest and lagoons where dolphins, sharks and other marine life can be seen. Entrance to the park provides interactive animal encounters, such as snorkeling with stingrays, swimming with dolphins and shark encounters. Glass-bottomed kayaks provide above water views, and a Jungle Trail takes visitors through the tropical foliage where snakes, iguanas and exotic birds live.
Various pricing is available for wildlife experiences, beginning with $49 admission and climbing up to $660 for acting as a dolphin keeper for an entire day.
Another favorite way to spend a morning or afternoon in the Ocho Rios region is inside large tubes, floating down the mountainous White River. High in the hills above Ocho Rios, the water is cool and is as clear as gin. Guides sing Bob Marley songs as you flow with the slow-moving current. Listen to the high-pitched call of the yellow banana quit bird, and peer out at the green mosaic of ferns, banana trees and thickets of bamboo that climb the banks of this sinuous waterway like ivy climbs a wall.
The River Tubing Safari is one of the many adventures offered by Chukka Caribbean Adventures, a reputable Jamaican outfitter.
The Blue Hole is exactly as it is called: a very blue swimming hole. This hidden spot is often missed by tourists so makes a better stop than the often-crowded Dunn’s River Falls.
Visitors jump off rocks and use rope sings to land in the clear water before heading another 10 minutes through a narrow trail to a small waterfall. Visitors will have to pay a $10 entry fee to the Blue Hole.
Relax and unwind while taking in the beautiful sights and sounds of Ocho Rios Bay in Jamaica at Coyaba Gardens & Mahoe Falls. Families are invited to explore around the magnificent Jamaican Spanish architecture, Mahoe waterfalls, and the Museum of Island History. Open daily, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This location was part of a cruise ship excursion package. Our guide was very connected with the group, explained many things about the plants, animals, and culture of Jamaica, and had plenty of humor.
Chukka also takes guest on horseback rides to Papillion Bay, a pristine cove with no other people.
Ride at a casual pace along the coast, and stop for a cool drink of pineapple juice. The next thing you know, you’ll be following the guide into the ocean waters on horseback!
